Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum night stay?

We operate a minimum 2 consecutive night stay policy. One night stays are sometimes possible off-season and at short notice, so please check. However, we don't take 1 night bookings in advance and 1 night stays will attract a supplement of £10 to cover increased laundry and cleaning costs.

Is there a single person supplement or discount?

We offer a £10 discount for single occupancy.

Are children welcome?

Well-behaved children welcome! Please be considerate of other guests (and me!), and furniture etc, and keep noise levels to a minimum.

For very young children: a travel cot and high chair are available, but you will need to bring your own bedding.

Are special dietary requirements catered for?

Yes. Please let me know on booking, particularly about any allergies. Vegan and gluten-free alternatives are usually in stock, but it's good to have advance warning.

How close is the coast path?

Very. It's a ten minute walk from here to the start of the cliff path. From here you can fork left to Lamorna, Mousehole and Penzance; or right, to Porthcurno, Porthgwarra, and Land's End.

Is there a shop?

Treen campsite has a small shop well-stocked with all the essentials during the summer. Otherwise the nearest shop is Londis in St Buryan, which is a ten minute drive away. There is also a post office there, and the option of cash back (please note this is the nearest place to withdraw cash until you get to Sennen!).

And a garage?

St Buryan is the nearest stop for petrol between Treen and Penzance.

Is there anywhere to store food onsite?

Yes. There is a mini fridge for small amounts of food in the dining room, for your convenience. Please do not store meat or fish in it!

Can I cook food during my stay?

Regretfully, no. There is no entrance to the kitchen at any time. It contravenes food hygiene and health & safety. Please find a list of recommended places to eat out in the things to do section.

If you would like to bring takeaway meals back to the house, you are welcome to eat them in the dining room - I'm happy to provide crockery and condiments!

Can I bring my dog?

Sadly not, due to allergy - sorry.
