Environmental policy

Hot water is powered by solar panels visible on the south-facing roof.

Electricity powered by sixteen photovoltaic panels.

All cleaning and washing products are both animal and eco friendly.

All cosmetics provided are animal friendly.

Teas, coffee and hot chocolate are organic and fairtrade.

Breakfast fruits sourced as locally as possible (Strawberries are nearly always from St Buryan, approx. 2 miles away).

As are preserves, honey, milk and eggs.

(Lots of bee friendly planting!).

Bread is baked here, or by Treen's own Baker Steve, or ordered from local bakery, Vicky's Bread.

Left-overs go to Treen Farm (where the full fat milk and eggs come from), for the hens!

B&B stationery is printed on recycled paper.

All packaging that can be recycled, is recycled.

LED Lightbulbs throughout.

Consequently, bedroom towels are not replaced every day, but please ask if you would like fresh ones โ€“ you are very welcome.
